You give your shipping documents to a registered Clearing and Forwarding Agent who will lodge them with the Tanzania Ports Authority and Tanzania Revenue Authority.

TPA’s main Port of Dar es Salaam offers general information about the ports. Yes we do accept internship and field work for students under special agreement with no cost to TPA. Due to the fact that our ports are sensitive area and we receive many applications and busy work schedule, the Port Authority unfortunately cannot accept all requests from University students.

Tanzania Ports Authority (TPA) is not involved directly in this activity. We advise you to contact TRA or Container Shipping Lines.

We offer services of receiving/delivery of cargo within 24 hours/7 days a Week. 1. Vessel Name and Voyage Number 2. Ocean Bill of Lading Number (import) or Booking Number (export) 3. Case numbers and identifying marks with number of items to be picked up 4. Delivery Order or Trucker Short Bill Lading
